Sri Lanka Team Agrees to Play Two Test In Pakistan After 10 Years

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board talk with the Sri Lanka team play two test matches against Pakistan Cricket Team in this year after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.This Test series as part of the ICC’s inaugural edition of World Test championship. After Ten Years the international cricket returning to Pakistan.

According to sources Sri Lanka Cricket board only agrees to send their team to Pakistan for play two test matches against Pakistan Cricket Team in Pakistan. Once the Sri Lankan Cricket Board confirm then the  Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the schedule of the two test matches.

If everything goes good then these two matches series will be played in this year for the month of September and October 2019. These Two test play in Pakistan one test match in Gaddafi cricket stadium Lahore and one in National Cricket Stadium Karachi.

The inaugural ICC World Test Championship will start in July this year. In this championship, only nine national teams playing not including Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and  Ireland.

According to sources, The Management of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board for inviting Bangladesh Cricket for the short series against Pakistan Cricket Team in Pakistan.

Since Pakistan hosted all home series in United Arab Emirates (UAE).After this attack only Zimbabwe Cricket team venture into Pakistan and Played the series ODI and two T20 in 2015.West Indies Cricket team also Played 3 T20I against Pakistan in last April. Sri Lanka Team Played only one T20 international with heavy security in October 2017.

Recently Pakistan Hosted many matches like 1st edition PSL Final and some matches of the  second, third and fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).ICC chief executive David Richardson said this is the very setp to return the International cricket in Pakistan
